Last year 126 teams (94 male and 32 female), among which 21 foreign ones, took part in our tournament.
PROGRAM AND TOURNAMENT RULES:The teams will be divided into rounds depending upon the number of teams enrolled for each category.
The semi finals are based on the team placement in the rounds and in the finals. All the teams will play at least four games. The games will be played following the official FIP rules and controlled by CIA officials (there is no limitation to players with game reports). There are two types of rounds for the categories UNDER 17 and UNDER 15 male: GOLD (for teams taking part in Excellence or Elite championships) and SILVER (for teams taking part in provincial championships); the teams taking part in the tournament can choose the round to be enrolled. The first four winner teams for each category and the MVPs of the finals will be prized; over-age players are not admitted.
ARRIVAL/ACCOMMODATION:The arrival of the teams is on Saturday 04th April in the early afternoon, by 3.00 p.m. or by the time of the first game (games start at 3.30 p.m.); the departure is on Tuesday 07th April after the final and the awards ceremony (some finals will be in the afternoon).
The societies taking part in the tournament with more than one team and having the problem of simultaneous games are kindly requested to inform the organization immediately in order to be able to solve the problem (especially the first days), but we cannot assure to succeed in it (especially in the second phase). The teams will be accommodated at the EuroCamp in Cesenatico, a tourist sport centre for young people with rooms with 3/4/8/12 beds. The surplus teams at EuroCamp will be accommodated in nearby structures.
TRANSFER: The organization will provide for the organization of your transports to and from airports / stations. The transport cost going/back to Bologna airport is € 700,00
RATES AND REGISTRATION:
The participation fee is € 160,00 for each player and includes:
full board (from Saturday dinner to Tuesday breakfast)
tournament registration/fees
tournament gadgets
transport from EuroCamp to courts
insurance/medical assistance
evening entertainments
1 free accommodation for the coach. Other accompanying people € 120,00
During the tournament several events will be held:
Serata Gastronomica – Gastronomic evening event for managers and coaches, with typical products offered by the teams and typical products from Romagna offered by our organization
DiscoParty for all the athletes on Monday evening
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: on Monday 02nd March 2015 or at reaching the maximum number of the teams enrolled for each category
